“The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.” - Psalms126:3
Many people are sadly prone to look on the dark side of everything, and to dwell more upon what they have gone through than upon what God has done for them - The Good things in their Lives!!!. Ask for their impression of life, and they will describe their continual conflicts, their deep afflictions, their sad adversities, and the sinfulness of their hearts, yet with scarcely any allusion to the mercy and help which God has poured over them. Yet Those whose soul are in a healthy state, will come forward joyously, and say, “I will speak, not about myself, but to the honor of my God for the great Things He has done!!. He hath brought me up out of an horrible pit, and out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings: and he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God. The Lord hath done great things for me, whereof I am glad.” Such an abstract of experience as this is the very best that any child of God can present. It is true that we endure trials, but it is just as true that we are delivered out of them. It is true that we have our corruptions, and mournfully do we know this, but it is quite as true that we have an all-sufficient Savior, who overcomes these corruptions, and delivers us from their dominion. In looking back, it would be wrong to deny that we have been in the Slough of Despond, and have crept along the Valley of Humiliation, but it would be equally wicked to forget that we have been through them safely and profitably; we have not remained in them, thanks to our Almighty Helper and Leader, who has brought us “out into a wealthy place.” The deeper our troubles, the louder our thanks to God must be....because He's the one, who has led us through all, and preserved us until now. Our griefs cannot mar the melody of our praise, we reckon them to be the bass part of our life’s song, “He hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.” Those who Truly Belong to God live lovely and Happy Lives By Appreciating the beauty of Positive look at all moments of Life that Come to us, Whether Good or bad. We are not Made to live and look at things in the short or physical view, but rather in the Bigger divine/spiritual view...and the later view believes all things work together for Good and not for pity.
Be Blessed!!!
“The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.” - Psalms126:3
We are all wired to make this world a better place to live in. Each and everyone of us, in one way or the other has something good to offer for the world to become a better place to live in. Why not begin by loving someone next to you, be it a stranger, neighbor, friend, street dweller, or any. Let Love rule the World.

A BIT OF MY MOMBASA TIME
Together with these adorable boys!!! Thanking God for the transformation he's bringing in their Lives.
My time in Mombasa is one other Beautiful event that God Made to happen in my Life. When I left Kampala on July 31st, Heading to Mombasa, I didn't know the great opportunities and Blessings that God had awaiting for me there. I reached safely and found my Brothers Okiror Daniel Benon and Sanya Samuel busy in the Ministry that God had put them in charge of -(WANA WA MOLA MINISTRIES), Reaching out to the Least, Last and the Lost street kids of Mombasa with the Love of Jesus. We were later joined by our other beloved Brother, Rotish Esau. When I reached, I joined them in the Ministry and it has really been so great working with them.
The Mentoring Team!!! Daniel Benon Okiror on my Right, I (Dennis) in center and Esau Rotish on my left!!
So far, I am having a great opportunity to Experience God in a more personal way. I have seen His mighty saving Hand reaching out to save many least, last and lost children who were once forgotten, abandoned, uncared for, and above all Unprotected - These are the STREET CHILDREN. God Himself, chose to Father them and for the first time, I saw Little Clinton, Solomon, Ali, Gerald Felix and so many others filled with joy in their hearts and Praises of Thanks giving in their mouths, because, they finally got a dad, God Himself. Everyday, their faces filled with smiles because, they are always waking up to experience God's wonderful blessings for their lives in much powerful way. Seeing them smile, laugh and filled with joy inspire me more, strengthen me more, encourage/motivate me more and inspire me more in extending The Love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to them.
The Way of Life! The Wana Wa Mola Family.
In this Place, God had blessed and given me an opportunity to grow more in Him. He gave me such great people to work with. Daniel and Esau have for the small time that we have been together, been such a great force that have helped me grow more stronger. They give me such great support, counsel and encouragement as Elder brothers and fellow servants of God that God has placed around me.
God has also Blessed me with such an amazing Church (CROSSROADS FELLOWSHIP MOMBASA); in which I also minister in the choir, leading God's children in worship and adoration of His mighty name. The Pastors; Duncan, Mike, Bobby and Jim are such great people that inspire me a lot and help Minister to the inner corners of my heart, through the Food to my soul "THE WORD OF GOD."
At Church.Crossroads Fellowship. Singing a special song in a service with the kids. Was so great.
Above all, I really Bless the Lord for the Opportunity He has Given me to be part of the Team that He has sent out to fish the least, last and the Lost Street Children of Mombasa and Bring them Back to Him; Back to His Throne of Glory. It is a great opportunity to work with these children and see their lives getting more and more transformed everyday with the Love of Jesus that we extend to them in manifesting The Kingdom of God here on Earth. And also through this service, am also getting to grow more deeply in god through lots of lessons/teachings and experiences with the boys in the house!!!

I REALIZED IT
Truly, nothing is better than the Friendship, Fellowship and above all, The Love we have for one another. There is an inner joy that is stimulated when we get together and even just, looking at each others' face. Not even money, education, jobs, or anything else can stimulate that joy.

LITTLE STORY OF MY LIFE!
Born and raised in Nebbi district, Uganda, I got a chance to begin moving closer to my dreams when I was offered an opportunity in Cornerstone Development Limited in 2005. I was raised in a family of six (6); three boys and three girls. I am the fourth born in the family. The first three siblings (2 boys and 1 girl); are now all married. I am now through with my undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance. My two younger sisters who follow after me are still in high schools and I am the One trying to take care of their education and it has not been easy.....My mom has also sometimes given me some support in this.....But all in all, It has been a story of lack and struggle to see them reach whichever level they are in now. I yearn to see them one day finishing their degrees too.....that's the miracle I always hope to see in their lives.
Briefly about my Parents....my Dad was a surgeon but was one day attacked by stroke and is now paralyzed and can't do anything.....he's just seated home. My Mom, because of my Dad, got the opportunity to do some nursing training and she's a midwife. She helps the people in the Village.
So, I grew up in a tiny village of Jupakeno found in Nebbi district; in North Western Region of Uganda. Due to high level of poverty, I never got any opportunity to go to any pre- elementary school, but rather went straight to elementary school by age of seven (7). Was so bright in class, but I was about to drop out of school as a result of lack of school tuition in 1994. Fortunately, the Ugandan government introduced a free primary education system in all public primary schools in 1997 and I used this opportunity and finished my primary studies from Jupangira Primary School successfully in 2000. I completed my secondary studies from Pakwach Secondary School in 2004, but still due to lack of school fees I was supposed to join a Primary Teaching College which was free. But, I had a great burning desire to continue and finish High school and then later join University. Luckily enough, in 2005, Cornerstone Development Africa, a Non - Governmental Organization that focuses on Youth :Leadership Development within Africa and beyond; came in and offered to support me in my high school. They took me to their Leadership training school (Cornerstone Leadership Academy), from where I was able to finish my High school studies in 2006.
I always loved music from my childhood and by age of 9, I had already learned and begun playing our traditional instruments (xylophone and Harp) and this gave me a special position in all the schools I went to. By 2005 for example, I had already become the best guitar player, gospel song writer and singer in the whole of my school - while in my first year of High School at Cornerstone Leadership Academy; and as a result, I won the music award for the best performer in an event that brought all the Cornerstone schools together. Though I haven’t produced any song yet, I have dozens of albums that are ready for production as soon as I get the funds.
While at the Leadership Academy, I was elected as a Care Group Leader in which I carried out counseling and guidance of my care group members and provided leadership for the group. Immediately after High school, in January 2007, Cornerstone Development Limited offered me a chance to volunteer with them, which later turned out to become a Job which I hold up to date as a Youth Mentor of Kibuli youth corps Home; which is under one of their projects (Youth Corps Family); due to the fact that, I had passed through their leadership training program of Cornerstone Leadership Academy and the great passion and potential of doing the work that I had. As a youth mentor, I have been involved in Picking street boys and bringing them in to the home; Teaching them life skills and Instilling good characters in them; Training them on servant leadership, Helping them develop their talents; Community and team building; house administration; Running the home budgets by making weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and preparing Financial Statements as per the periods stated showing all Cash Inflows and Outflows; all these based on the character and Teachings of Jesus Christ who is the model of all the work we do, in reaching out to the youth in Love.
By February 2007, I got a part time job as a waiter at a police canteen where I worked six hours per day and ensured good customer care and better service. When our High School results came out, I didn't make it on Government sponsorship. This meant I had to join college on a private sponsorshi, which money I didn't have... But God has always never left His children alone. By God's great love, Cornerstone offered to help me out with 50% of my tuition in the university....This was one great news for me...But still I was wondering where on earth I was gonna get the remaining 50%. In my pondering, God brought in a friend, Wendy, whom I call my sister, and had met her while still in High School. When she had noticed my situation at hand, she went and talked about it to her parents. Through my dear sister Wendy, God worked a miracle for me and the entire Weimerskirch family decided they will help me with my remaining 50% of tuition at the college till I finish my college degree.... And indeed, In Miraculous ways like that, God made it for me and I was finally able to finish my college degree on 26th May 2010. When I joined Kyambogo University in August of 2007 for an evening program, in pursuit of a degree in Accounting and Finance; I was promoted from the post of a Waiter to a Cashier and was put responsible for procurement of food items, maintenance of regular stock and income records and preparation of monthly Financial Reports. By January 2009, due to too much other commitments at the the youth corps home, public speaking skills development workshops; and University activities, I had to resign from my position from the restaurant as the cashier.
Following an understanding by Cornerstone Development Limited that, Public Speaking Skill is one of the most lacking among young professionals today, Cornerstone begun extending this skill to University students in the different universities in Uganda. I also got an opportunity to acquire this skill. While in the training, the instructors then, Mr. Wayland and His wife, Courtney, discovered that I was so talented in Public speaking and hence offered to give me more trainings to enable me become an instructor in Public Speaking too. As a result, within the period of October 2008 to December 2008, I acqired this training and when those instructors that were running the program left, I was appointed by Cornerstone Development to continue with the program and help instruct university students, covering the fundamentals of Public Speaking, types of speeches; preparation and delivery of speeches and other essentials of Public Speaking; as part of the organizational social services to the communities around. And in March 2009, I helped instruct 50 students from Kyambogo University and in July 2009, I instructed 40 students from Mukono Christian University.
As it also became necessary for the students in the Cornerstone Leadership Academies in both Rwanda, and Uganda to also acquire this training, I begun extending this skill to the students in the leadership schools by November 2009, with the approval of the Director of the Organization, Mr. Tim Kreutter; which program, I have been running up to-date. As time went on, there arose the need for more other life skills training for the students in the leadership academies; and to that note, I also had to take on the responsibility of helping in giving the trainings, and/or identifying other people who can help in teaching specific life skills topics such as; Personality/Career Interest Assessment, Goal Setting, Professionalism, CV Writing, Business Writing – (i.e. Letter of Application, CV, Thank You Letter, Memos (more formal name is Memorandum), Resume, Cover Letter, Emails at the Workplace- Do’s and Don’ts; and much more; Personal Financial Management, Global – Cross-Cultural Communication, Networking and Job Searching Skills, Interviewing, Ethics and Leadership in Adversity, and Conflict Resolutions; among others.
On 26th May 2010, I was able to get through with my Degree program at the university. This was one great achievement that was once a dream for me and to experience it as a reality was the greatest of joy to me. Right now, as I am through with the degree, I am organizing myself for something bigger than what I have been involving myself in before and I am preparing myself for any challenge that may come my way.
I Believe, our Destiny is in God's hands and Neither geography Nor family,Nor any circumstance can hinder us from reaching God's Purposes for our lives which are always good. For we can do all things through Christ who Strengthens us. And In Him, We are more than conquerors. We're the best, always and Forever. We are God's Children, Co - Heirs with Christ and have been given all things partaining to life and Godliness. He turns our mourning in to dancing, and our sorrows in to joy. He lights our path and straightens our crooked pathways. When we fall down, He picks us Up. He raises us Up from ashes and sists us with Kings. And above all, In Him (Jesus Christ) alone, do we have our Being!!!!!!!
I know that, God has been with me through all these times and will continue leading me in doing the best and right things He desires of me. And that, there are much more Bigger Opportunities, He has prepared for me.

FOR I HAVE BEEN BLEESED BEYOND ANY CURSE!!!!
I decided to say to myself that, I will celebrate my life always and surely, it was hard to celebrate it, it was so hard to choose to be happy due to the multitude of challenges all around me.I kept saying it loud to myself that, I am happy and will choose to remain happy and slow, but surely, happiness begun unfolding each and everyday of my life.I choose happiness now each and every single day that passes bay and indeed, every day, I find reasons to smile and enjoy my life. It is the simple secret that I discovered.I found it real. You can have very hard time dealing with challenges if all you do is to magnify and get all amazed by how hard it is to get through it, But you can also Decide not to participate or get involved in any challenge be keeping yourself happy and looking up to the Lord to whom nothing is impossible. It's a choice I had to make and I keep enjoying its fruits each and everyday of my life. So, what will you choose? Is it happiness or Sadness???
What do you always see when you look at yourself in a mirror just like this? Many people see different things every time they look at themselves in their mirrors. Some see themselves as failures, others see themselves as being so Ugly, while others see their big eyes, others, their big heads and all sorts of negative things you can ever imagine.....and you know what, they might even be right about themselves basing on the standards that this world has set....everyday you wake up, you find a new description of beauty, a new definition of success, a totally different description of perfect body shape.....as a result, some struggle to become tiny, others struggle to become bigger, others are changing their skin colors and all kinds of acts you may not even imagine......Now, what if they turned those definitions the opposite way, say, from ugly to beautiful, failures to successful, and just think of all those negative things you can ever see on yourself and get the opposite positive side and tell me, How will you feel if you look at yourself basing on that positive side....Let me tell you, no one wants to identify with negativity. Just find your closest friend in a public place being beaten by the mob for theft, would you wanna say that, "Please, leave this guy, he's my friend!!" The answer is always NO, because, you may also end up being beaten..Tell me then, why look at yourself the negative side....I have made it a point to speak positively about myself and you know what? It feels good to say, I am the most handsome, am a very successful man, I am so intelligent, my body shape is the most perfect for me, I can do all things through Christ that gives me the strength....The truth is that, the best way we can look at ourselves in these mirrors is to view ourselves through the mirror of God in His word. Listen to this, in Him, I am more than a conqueror, I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I am His Child, I am a Co-Heir with Christ, I am redeemed, justified, glorified, forgiven, and I have all things that pertain to life and godliness and above all, I am Loved..... Let's identify with and look at ourselves through the right mirror of God in His word and close our ears from listening to the terrible descriptions from the outside because, our true nature is in God through Christ Jesus. When we embrace it, we'll love it.

In my sad moments, I chose to be happy....Hanging out with my pals and having great fun moments is what I do during those times. It's like after receiving a sad news, I just throw a party...Someone said, you cannot stop birds from flying over your head, but you can stop them from building thier nests on your head.....Yeah, those moments come, but, how do you get out as clean and beautiful and a Gold....The trick is just simple, you only need to chose to celebrate your life....In all things and all moments, just praise God and let him lead your life to celebrate and enjoy your everyday life. You don't wanna be all alone in those tough times, and for that, just get out and hangout with your close pals and yeah.....go and enjoy yourselves and have fun and I assure you, you'll not remember easily those tough moments.......what do you think??THE CHANGED MAN
Every single day that I wake up, I ask myself "what am I going to do today to make me get more closer to my dream?" I try to think of what truly will take much of my time in the day..........
Sometimes, I have found myself very dissapointed, just because there are those moments when I fail to reach my desired outcomes.......But one thing I have always learned in those moments is to "Thank God that I am not where I used to be." To always remember that, even though I make my mountains of plans or goals to achieve, God always has a Better plan for me than I have for myself.
Today, when I sit down on my soft chairs in my room, someone would not even imagine that, it is the same Denis who slept on papyrus mat (popularly known as 1*11) for fifteen years of my life without having tasted how a mattress feels like to sleep on...One would not think that, I am the same Denis who spent 18 years, right from my childhood without reaching my capital city. When someone listens to me talk about my dreams, one wouldn't know that, some five years back, I only yearned to be able to acquire a bicycle and get married and nothing much beyond that.....
But today, when I see the big and beautiful things that I am having and those that I dream to have, it humbles me so much, because in that, am able to realise how God in His divine wisdom can change us for the better, how He can work His ways and transform your paradygm, how he can mold somebody for bigger things.....
and the only thing that you would need to do is to only believe Him that, In Him, All Things are Possible....
I am so Humbled and reminded of what a Changed man I am! God has surely changed me..... I remember something that I used to tell my classmates while at high school...that, "I left the village and came to the city, and when I leave the city, I will be traveling abroad..." Yeah......Sometimes I could wonder where I even got the guts to speak like that, but I could remember that, it's God trying to empower me to believe in myself and look at bigger things...... and also to remind me that, He's a God who Majors in the Impossibilities....and wants me to think "HIS WAY" only and not my own way..... and the more I got to think in the "GOD'S WAY", the more I got to change for the better....and today, I can Boldly say, "I AM A CHANGED MAN."

My Journey
I just want to thank the Lord for the far he has brought me. Today every day, I see a new Denis and I live to thank the Lord.
